Общая сумма прибыли предприятия (компании) от всех видов хозяйственной деятельности до вычета из нее налогов и других обязательных платежей. В составе балансовой прибыли различают: валовую прибыль от реализации продукции [gross operating profit; GОР]; прибыль от реализации имущества; прибыль от внереализационных операций. В РФ этот термин используется для обозначения налогооблагаемой прибыли, рассчитываемой как сумма прибыли (убытка) от реализации продукции (работ, услуг), от основных средств (включая земельные участки), иного имущества предприятия и доходов от внереализационных операций, уменьшенных на сумму расходов по этим операциям.
